UK arrival announced

XPENG UK's announcement, published on 22 July 2026 after the Munich reveal on 16 July, confirms the L03 name and a 2027 UK delivery plan. Its UK model page accepts expressions of interest.

Two global powertrain types

XPENG announces a battery electric L03 and a Power X range-extender. Final UK availability of each version remains to be confirmed. Power X is not a separate model family.

Right-hand-drive market launch now evidenced

XPENG Australia has a live L03 model page, and its July market announcement showed the L03 in right-hand drive ahead of Q4 2026 sale. Australian launch reporting on 23 September confirms a five-seat range. This strengthens production-market evidence but does not establish UK trim, range, price, or delivery timing.

UK specification still to follow

Global launch material describes frameless doors, a 15.6-inch central display, and towing capability of up to 1,500 kg. These claims do not establish equipment or approved towing limits for a particular UK car.

Practicality figures use a different measurement

XPENG's global page quotes 102 litres of front storage and 539 litres of rear luggage space, measured using water volume. These figures are not directly comparable with VDA luggage measurements and may vary by version.

Software rollout is a future plan

XPENG plans a progressive European rollout of its next-generation driving assistance from 2027. Confirm UK availability and supported functions for the delivered car; this is not evidence of autonomous driving.

Australian specifications are not UK specifications

Australian launch reporting lists a 445 km WLTP rear-wheel-drive Standard Range, a 520 km rear-wheel-drive Long Range, and a 440 km all-wheel-drive Performance version rated at 285 kW. It also reports a later range-extender. These are Australian-market figures and must not be used as the UK specification.

Australian production car is a five-seater

Australian launch reporting gives five seats, 4,650 mm length, 1,920 mm width, 1,600 mm height, and a 2,850 mm wheelbase. Final UK seating, dimensions, homologation, and derivative structure remain to be confirmed.

Check rear headroom, child-seat access, and the space beneath the sloping tailgate with your usual luggage. Compare usable space in person because manufacturers may use different measurement methods.

Match delivery timing to your current lease

A 2027 plan is too broad to coordinate a fixed replacement date. If your lease ends sooner, ask your employer's provider about an extension or an available alternative.
