Published battery and power choices
Volkswagen UK lists 85 kW, 99 kW and 155 kW output levels plus 37 kWh and 52 kWh net battery sizes. The page does not yet map every output, battery and equipment grade into a final selectable UK configuration.
Published charging capabilities
Volkswagen UK lists 11 kW AC charging for both batteries. It gives up to 90 kW DC and a 23-minute 10–80% time for 37 kWh, and up to 105 kW DC and 24 minutes for 52 kWh, subject to the stated charging conditions.
Practical storage
Volkswagen UK states up to 475 litres of boot space, including a 102-litre underfloor area, plus a 25-litre front luggage compartment.

Conflicting UK range presentations
Volkswagen UK's current launch article quotes up to 265 miles WLTP depending on battery and specification. Its separate model information previously quoted a provisional maximum of 271 miles for the 52 kWh Style without options, pending homologation, while German launch material separately quotes up to 427 km. All claims are retained with their market context; none is promoted into verified UK derivative data.
Towing and external power
Volkswagen UK describes up to 1,200 kg towing with the 52 kWh battery and a 3.6 kW vehicle-to-load function. Exact derivative availability and final UK configuration remain to be verified.
German orders are not UK availability
Volkswagen opened German advance sales on 15 July 2026. The current UK page explicitly says the ID. Cross is not available to order, UK pricing is unavailable and there is no firm UK order date.
