Lexus TZ salary sacrifice
The Lexus TZ is a forthcoming six-seat electric SUV with three rows and individual second-row chairs. Lexus plans a European launch in 2027, but has not confirmed UK order dates or prices. Its preliminary range and charging figures remain subject to homologation.
What is confirmed about the Lexus TZ?
This page exists because the vehicle has a stable, attributable public identity before complete production and UK quote data are available. It does not imply that a UK salary sacrifice quotation is currently available.

Confirmed facts
These points are supported by attributable manufacturer or corporate source material.
Six seats across three rows
Lexus identifies the TZ as a battery electric passenger SUV with two individual chairs in the second row and two seats in the third. It is a six-seat proposition, not a seven-seater.
Revealed in May 2026
Lexus's UK newsroom announced the TZ on 7 May 2026. Its UK model page invites requests for updates; this is not an ordering or reservation service.
European launch planned for 2027
Lexus UK's model page and magazine give 2027 for Europe. The UK newsroom says local specifications and timings will follow separately.
Preliminary manufacturer figures
Useful for early research, but deliberately kept out of hard P11D, WLTP, pricing and configurator filters until final production evidence is available.
Up to 330 miles
Lexus UK's prototype data quotes up to 330 miles, depending on specification, and a 95.8 kWh battery. Homologation is pending; usable battery capacity and final UK range are unconfirmed.
Around 35 minutes from 10–80%
Lexus quotes about 35 minutes using a 150 kW DC charger and a 22 kW onboard AC charger. These are preliminary figures; charger rating alone does not establish the vehicle's peak. Actual times depend on battery temperature, charge level, and supply.
All-wheel drive and 300 kW
The UK press material describes DIRECT4 all-wheel drive, 300 kW total system output (402.3 bhp), and 0–62 mph in 5.4 seconds. These prototype figures do not establish UK grades or selectable powertrains.
Size and luggage space
Lexus's provisional specification lists 5,100 mm length, 1,990 mm width, 1,705 mm height, a 3,050 mm wheelbase, 290–2,017 litres of luggage space, and 1,500 kg braked towing capacity. Confirm the final UK limits before planning towing or parking.
Equipment depends on UK specification
Launch material describes 20- or 22-inch wheels, Sonic Tellus green paint, and available rear-wheel steering. It does not establish a final UK options list, standard equipment by grade, or option prices.
What is not confirmed yet?
- UK order opening, production allocation, and first customer deliveries
- UK list and on-the-road prices, P11D values, and provider quotations
- Final UK grades, powertrain badges, paint, upholstery, wheels, and option combinations
- Homologated UK range, usable battery capacity, payload, and towing limits
- TZ-specific UK warranty and battery-cover terms
How should you use this information?
Keep announced-vehicle research separate from an orderable employer quote.
Check six-seat practicality
Try third-row access with your usual child seats fitted, and check luggage room with everyone on board. If you need seven seats, the announced TZ layout will not meet that requirement.
Plan charging around your journeys
Check the supply available at home and work before assigning value to the 22 kW onboard charger. Compare realistic motorway stops and winter use once UK test data are available.
Keep replacement timing separate from interest
If a current lease ends before a confirmed TZ delivery date, ask your employer's provider about available alternatives or an extension. Request the exact UK car, term, mileage, included services, and verified P11D value before comparing monthly costs.
