Porsche's Strategy 2035 announcement of 7 October 2026 explicitly names an all-electric 718 Boxster. It says 2028 is expected to be the Boxster and Cayman models' first full year of production. This confirms the open-top form and programme, but not the exact production start, UK order opening or first deliveries.
The Boxster EV reports are useful evidence of continued development. They do not establish final roof operation, luggage space, battery capacity, or the charging connection that a UK production car would use.
