Production car revealed

Jaguar unveiled Type 01 in New York on 6 October 2026. It is a battery-electric four-door grand tourer on Jaguar Electric Architecture, with four individual seats.

UK commercial plan

Jaguar says orders open in early 2027, prices start from £130,000 and first client deliveries are expected in the second half of 2027. These are manufacturer plans, not an open configurator, a derivative price list or an individual delivery commitment.

Designed and manufactured in Britain

JLR says Type 01 was designed and engineered in the UK and will be built at Solihull. Electric drive units and battery packs are due from Wolverhampton, with aluminium body panels from Halewood.
