Official name and UK presence
Mercedes-Benz UK's model page names the AMG GT SUV, offers a notification sign-up and identifies GT 53, GT 55 and GT 63 versions. It does not establish that UK orders are open.
Distinct electric SUV
The 17 October 2026 world premiere confirms the standalone AMG.EA SUV. It remains separate from the AMG GT four-door coupé and EQE SUV.

Version-specific output
AMG quotes 400 kW for the GT 53, 600 kW for the GT 55 and 860 kW for the GT 63. The 53 uses two synchronous motors; the 55 and 63 use three axial-flux motors. These are provisional peak figures, not continuous outputs.
Battery and charging choices
Mercedes' global launch table lists 106/128 kWh net batteries for GT 55 and GT 63, with respective peaks of 600/710 kW DC and 11/12-minute 10–80% claims. GT 53 is listed with 106 kWh and 600 kW. UK battery combinations remain unconfirmed; these provisional laboratory claims require suitable charging conditions.
Range and practicality
The global release gives preliminary WLTP ranges of 525–585/620–700 km for GT 55/63 with 106/128 kWh, and 597–668 km for GT 53. It lists 607 litres of rear luggage space, expanding to 1,740 litres, plus 78 litres at the front using VDA measurements. Final UK certification remains outstanding.
Acceleration measurement matters
Mercedes-Benz UK quotes 2.7 seconds from 0–62 mph. AMG's global GT 63 headline of 2.5 seconds to 100 km/h excludes a one-foot rollout. The two claims use different measurement conditions.
US timing is not UK timing
Electrek reports summer 2027 US dealership arrivals. That does not establish a UK delivery date.
